Important Information about Registration

• Club Policy: The club has a no pay-no play policy for compliance purposes, which will be enforced. 

• Forming Teams: Each team must have between 12-15 players. If the number exceeds 15, we will place you on a waiting list for another team and offer training options if no team can be formed. If we don’t meet 12, the club will reach out to discuss the options.

• Club fee structure: https://www.sydneyrays.com/costsexplained/

• AKV: Active Kids Voucher (AKV) is accepted.  Please let us know if you have an AKV. Note: Once the AKV has been applied, as per Services NSW, the voucher value cannot be reimbursed as cash, nor can it be transferred to another child. The voucher cannot be refunded to you. A credit may be offered in certain circumstances, for example, the team requirements were not fulfilled, but this will be on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the club.

• Discounts: We offer a family discount for each subsequent immediate family member/s who registers as a player with the club. Please let us know if you are registering more than one immediate family member as a player.

• Team Uniform: All members are required to wear club uniform: club swimmers, polo shirt, and shorts. Link to order:  https://www.sydneyrays.com/shop/ 

• Team Managers: All teams need a manager - please volunteer by emailing registrar@sydneyrays.com

• Parent Support: All parents are required to do door duty (home games only) and table duty on a rotational basis.  This will be organised by the team manager.

Registration steps

Here is what to do from here:

1. Let us know if you have any discount or Active Kids Vouchers ready prior to starting the registration process. (Note, we are unable to restrospectively apply any discounts or AKVs once you have completed registration)

2. Note the Age group you/child would be under as you will need to select the appropriate membership type.

3. Review which below option applies to you/child and proceed to complete the registration.

• If you are rejoining us after playing last season, we will be automatically upgrading you to a Winter season player and complete payment if you intend to play with us during Winter.
• If you are joining from a different club, please select the 'Returning Member' button and complete your registration and payment.
• If you are joining Water Polo for the first time, WELCOME. Please select the 'New Member' button and complete your registration and payment.
