Sydney Northern Rays Water Polo Club was established in 2020 and is affiliated with Water Polo Australia and Water Polo NSW. As Sydney’s newest water polo club to join the Sydney Metropolitan Competition, our aim is to foster the growth of the sport in the Northern Sydney region, as well as support involvement in tournaments and competitions, both statewide and nationally.

Our club’s mission is to become one of Sydney’s premier Water Polo clubs, whilst simultaneously fostering a culture of the spirit of inclusion for all. We value teamwork, hard work and effort, passion, physical and mental wellbeing, and embrace healthy competition. We are a not for profit sporting club that wants to ensure that water polo remains an affordable sport for all players in our local community.

Furthermore, part of our mission is to assist Water Polo NSW in developing a water polo community in the North Shore area of Sydney, and foster growth of the sport at a regional level.

The club holds all training activities at the current state-of-the-art Knox Aquatic Centre.

Having established age groups for junior boys and mens' opens, we are now focusing on the introduction of the ladies program for juniors and women's opens. Our objective is to create a broad program encompassing a range of teams with a pathway for junior development.
