Sydney Northern Rays Water Polo Club
We Support
Welcome to Sydney Rays Water Polo Club, a growing community club based on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. We’re passionate about making water polo accessible, enjoyable and affordable for young people, giving boys and girls the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and experience the excitement of team sport.
Based at the Knox Grammar School Aquatic Centre, Sydney Rays is building a welcoming and inclusive water polo community where players can develop, challenge themselves and enjoy being part of a team.
At Sydney Rays, we believe sport is about more than winning. It’s about teamwork, commitment, resilience, sportsmanship and supporting one another. We want every player to feel welcome, have the opportunity to improve and take pride in their contribution, whatever their starting point.
As a not-for-profit sporting club, we are committed to keeping water polo affordable and creating opportunities for young people in our local community to participate in the sport.
Our current program includes development opportunities and Under 14 and Under 16 competition for both boys and girls.
Whether your child is new to water polo or already has experience in the pool, we encourage families to get in touch and explore the opportunities available at Sydney Rays.
We’re working to grow the sport locally and build a stronger water polo community on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. Our ambition is to expand our programs over time, creating more opportunities for players across a wider range of age groups and competition levels.
We know that a strong club is built by its people. Players, families, coaches, team managers and volunteers all play an important role in creating a positive club culture and helping Sydney Rays thrive.
We’re always keen to hear from families interested in water polo, as well as people who would like to contribute to the club’s growth.
If you’re looking for a team where your child can learn, develop, compete and belong, we’d love to hear from you.
